Beberapa anak muda mulai digadang-gadang layak menjadi calon menteri Jokowi. Bahkan salah satunya langsung disebut Jokowi pantas sebagai menteri. Berikut nama-nama itu:
1. Bahlil Lahadalia
Presiden Jokowi secara terbuka menyebut Ketua Umum Hipmi, Bahlil Lahadalia, sosok yang cocok menjadi menteri Kabinet Kerja. Di matanya sosok Bahlil Lahadalia adalah pemuda yang cerdas.
“Adinda Bahlil ini kelihatannya cocok jadi menteri. Saya lihat dari samping, dari bawah ke atas, cocok ini kelihatannya. Pintar membawa suasana dan juga ya sangat cerdas, cerdas, cerdas,” ujar Jokowi.
2. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY)
Kemudian ada Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) santer disebut bakal masuk dalam kabinet Jokowi– Ma’ruf Amin. Ini lantaran AHY kerap mondar mandir bertemu Jokowi di Istana Negara.
Jokowi membuka peluang bagi anak muda berprestasi masuk dalam kabinetnya, termasuk AHY. “Yang muda-muda, ini juga akan kita berikan ruang di kementerian. Nanti lihatlah yang muda-muda,” ujar Jokowi beberapa waktu lalu.
Saat ditanya apakah nama AHY termasuk? “Kenapa tidak?” jawab Jokowi.
3. Grace Natalie dan Tsamara Amany
Nama Ketum PSI Grace Natalie dan Ketua DPP Tsamara Amany juga dinilai cocok menjadi calon menteri Jokowi. Juru bicara PSI, Dara Nasution mengatakan keduanya cocok karena sesuai kriteria Jokowi mencari anak muda yang berprestasi. Namun semua keputusan ada di tangan Presiden Jokowi. Namun PSI tidak mau menuntut jatah menteri, karena PSI tahu diri tidak lolos ambang batas parlemen.
“Sama-sama masih muda dan punya kapasitas memimpin (leadership) yang mumpuni. Kita enggak ingin merongrong Pak Jokowi, minta-minta jabatan. Biarlah Pak Jokowi yang memutuskan siapa anak muda yang paling dianggap kompeten untuk ada di kabinet,” ujar juru bicara PSI Dara Nasution.

4. Angela Tanoesoedibjo
Ada juga nama Angela Herliani Tanoesoedibjo, putri sulung Ketum Perindo Hary Tanoesoedibjo yang diusung Partai Perindo menjadi calon menteriJokowi. Sekjen Partai Perindo Ahmad Rofiq, mengatakan pihaknya mengusulkan Angela karena sesuai dengan kriteria Jokowi yang mencari menteri dari kalangan anak muda dan pintar.
“Dari apa yang disampaikan Pak Jokowi, Perindo juga menyiapkan diri kalau diminta mengusulkan calon figurnya, yaitu Angela Herliani Tanoesoedibjo,” kata Ahmad Rofiq.
